Mental Health and Loneliness
The 9th-15th May 2022 was Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK, so we decided to check in with the 4Youth community to see how they were feeling and their personal experiences with loneliness.
82% of 16-24s experience loneliness, with 91% agreeing that it has a significant impact on their mental health.
“I will start to feel lonely when I don’t talk to people or message people and isolate myself. It is a very easy thing to do. Sometimes I tell myself people don’t want to talk to me etc and put myself off” F, 23
